Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created with love in the memory of my love, Christopher Leatherwood who was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 04, 1971 and left us to go home to God on February 17, 2008 at the age of 37. Chris will never die he lives in our hearts and we will remember him until we go home to be with him. Chris was one of a kind so very special. I never knew anyone like Chris. Chris had a heart as big as he was and it was full of love for his children and his family. His favorite pass time was to eat Blizzards and watch Bruce Lee movies and just enjoy being home. He loved the martial arts and even had a black belt while he was growing up. He loved anything electronical and could take a computer apart and put it back together. He had great respect for people and was considerate and polite and kind. I could probably count on my hands the times I heard him say any ugly words. Chris' Grandma Margie can take credit for the caring person that was Chris. I will always believe because she taught him about respect. She was a very caring an giving person so I guess it is in the genes. Chris was a very soft spoken, easy going person and never got in a hurry and had a great influence on changing me. He brought joy and love to my life when there was none . I always said God sent him to me he was my special angel soul mate he completed me. God welcomed him home with open arms on a Sunday afternoon in February. The world was changed in that instance never to be the same again, we shared time and space together and were as one until the darkness moved in and satan tricked him into thinking this was the only way out. My sweet Chris was a Christian and I know he waits for me in Heaven. I will not disappoint him and I will be there someday and then we both will be truly free indeed.
